Hi folks:

I'm trying to retrieve the first IP address exhaustion talk.

As I recall it was at an IETF plenary or similar meeting in late 1988 or
1989, perhaps by John Romkey, but I cannot find it in the IETF proceedings.
I remember a slide showing an exponential curve that had the audience
sucking in its collective breath.

Hoping someone's memory is better than mine about where the talk happened.
