[ih] Mario Gerla has passed away

indeed he was, Craig - we were grad students at UCLA together (along with
Steve Crocker among many others). I had the pleasure of working now and
then with Mario on networking analyses and product development. A real loss
of a friend and a valued member of our community. Too young.
