RE: [datacenter] Number of cables per conduit
Check out http://www.tiaonline.org for links to the standards themselves
(TIA/EIA-568B is for commercial buildings, I don't recall the
residential one - 570, maybe?). I think you have to buy the actual
standards docs, though.
In doing a quick search, though, this link is relatively useful:

Often, vendors will have capacity tables on their websites specific for
each kind of cable they sell, too.
