Re: [datacenter] Server room build questions

As promised, here is a summary of offlist replies that I got regarding my
data center build questions.

Vendor Recommendations:
	Liebert CRAC unit
	APC Infrastruxure http://www.apc.com/products/infrastruxure/index.cfm

Raised Floor vs Tile/Anti-static carpet:
	Don't bother with anti-static tile
Only use a raised floor if you are going to pressurize underneath it
General consensus still seems to be - don't bother with raised floor,
		particularly in a small installation
	Consider raising the racks themselves

Elecricity:
480/3 phase incoming - keep the phases balanced as I grow the system
build in enough circuits for what I need, plus. Make sure service
is there for the predicted total capacity.
get power in from the top of the racks somehow, either using a
in rack system (APC Infrastruxure), modular system or just
	hanging it with conduit.

AC:
Get AC for predicted total capacity.

Fire supression:
Don't bother if you can afford not to, otherwise get whatever the
	Fire marshall will approve
Prevention! No cardboard boxes/papers in the server room

EPO button:
make sure it has a cover!
