Well, I can't speak for anyone but me, but it seems to me that
every datacenter I've built has been renovation vs. new construction.
Renovation in the sense of gutting a facility.

When considering renovation, I'd consider your location and
how you are getting lit from the major carriers. If you're not
careful, you're asking for a SLC 96 to be installed for a DS3
or something bogon like that. :-D

Of course, if you have the money, you can get anyone you want
to pull fiber your way, but if it isn't for free, it's for
expensive. :-D
