No I don't use DC.  We've got colo, etc. When you said something along
tthe lines of 8Amps = 1 VAR, I figured it was DC.  Otherwise it'd be 8A
rms, yes?

Thanks for your response Ken!  I can easily see you're well versed in the
EE stuff.  I was mainly aiming at some of the datacenter mailing list
guys. I felt that if some saw a DC watts to complex power conversion, I
might be able to explain a little deeper that the 2 are not the same.  
I'll leave the thread to you...  :-)
