Evite.com is laying off almost 50% of their staff!! Woo!

I never cound figure out what kind of a moron would give that
company millions in funding..

Some choice comments from Fuckedcompany:

 Evite just laid off 47 people, or around 60% of staff. 
 I always pictured Evite as like two
 programmers sitting in a basement somewhere or 
 something. My feelings about Evite.com
 is that it's one of the more useful things on 
 the Internet, but I'm sure how they're planning
 on making money... The day they start charging 
 for the service is the day some bored
 programmer in his mom's basement builds his 
 own evite-like service in a couple of hours
