[ale] TT fonts

I'm trying to use True Type fonts in RH 7.0 and have done the following
1.?? copied ll TT fonts from a NT 4.0 server to the directory
2. Created fonts.scale and fonts.dir
3.?? edited /etc/X11/fs/config to include directory
4. restarted xfs and X
5. ran netscape to go to http://linux.tucows.com
?????? After selection Georgia and then the server, the text looks bad.??
How do I force netscape to use those fonts?
