[ale] Gentoo Linux install question

Well, everyone's convinced me to check gentoo out, yet it appears it 
requires a boot from cdrom, which not all bios support.  At least that's 
what I see in the install section of the web site.

Anyone know if you can do a floppy boot for install for gentoo?

I didn't have to buy my radio from a specific company to listen
to FM, why doesn't that apply to the Internet (anymore...)?
