[ale] Is there a list of aliases for the kernal modules?

Is there a list of the various aliases for the loadable kernal modules
somewhere on the net? Alternatively, is there a somewhat reasonable way to
compile such a list or at least _most_ of such a list?

The point of the question is that I hosed my /etc/modules.conf file, and
would like to get the usb support back working during the boot process.
