[ale] Crosspost


Does anyone have any experience with Postgres and/or Oracle.

I came across PostgresSQL's table inheritance feature and was wondering if
Oracle has the eqivalent.

It seems that the same same thing can be accomplish with tables having a
1-to-0 relationship with some views to make it easy to treat as one table.
Is this frowned upon in database design?
