XawTV displays interlaced images... This is the source of complaints regarding 
poor video and the Tv-wonder card (Any TV card would have this problem).
However, there is a plug-in for XwaTV that deinterlaces the output from
any TV card. The algorithm is CPU intensive, but it works great. The
author states that you need at least a 700 MHz machine (The slowest
machine I have is a 1.6 GHz Athlon, so I have no idea how slow you can
go...).
