Frequent mythfrontend freezes on my mythtv box with the latest version of
ivtv and using the PVR-350's tvout. Here's a typical log entry:
Dec 30 08:25:52 margar1taville kernel: saa7115[0]: decoder set size Dec 30
08:25:52 margar1taville kernel: Hpsc: 0x00001, Hfsc: 0x00600 Dec 30
08:25:52 margar1taville kernel: Setting full NTSC height
Dec 30 08:26:07 margar1taville kernel: ivtv: EOS interrupt not received!
stopping anyway.
Dec 30 08:26:16 margar1taville kernel: ivtv: EOS interrupt not received!
stopping anyway.
Dec 30 08:32:41 margar1taville kernel: ivtv: Got DMA-done, but not
expecting one
I was talking with kevin thayer (tmk) on the ivtv-dev mailing list, and he
mentioned the problem with kt-133, 233, etc and that it might have
something to do with my kt-333 chipset. I'm not entirely convinced, but
willing to try the controller card to get at the 350's surperior tv-out
capabilities (spectacular, compared to my Geforce-2...)
Thanks for your input! Wish you had the PVR-350 so I could verify this
problem ;)
