One victory I just had was with DirectTV: their programming page, where
you look up the schedule based on drop down javascript based boxes
containing the date and time you want to look at, wouldn't work right
with Mozilla 1.5 and Java 1.4.2. So I emailed customer service,
explained the error and the page it was on and requested Mozilla
support. Sure enough within a couple of weeks the page was fixed and I
could used the drop down boxes just fine. Now there isn't a single part
of their website that I couldn't use. I am a happy customer!

I have an idea: Why don't those who have Comcast cable do some digging
on nameservers for Comcast and post their current DNS server IP and
whatever info they can come up with. We could produce a map of
Comcast's DNS for those who need it. I've thought about having Comcast
as an alternate backup connection but haven't decided to afford it yet.
I still have Earthlink DSL as the main connection at my home.

PS. Below is output of dig from here at KSU.
