I believe it is nautilus. That is the &quot;Gnome&quot; File Manager that comes 
with Ubuntu, it has cd writing support built in. On my Linspire 
partition, I have K3B which works fine for audio cds, but I have never 
been able to burn data cds or ISO images. I also use their Lphoto 
software which is able to burn photos ok.
