Huh?  ftp.ale.org is capped (probably for a good reason too).  I find 
that ibiblio (Duke U.), gatech (Atlanta), secsup (UUnet) and sometimes 
even kernel.org (ISC, San Jose) to usually be faster.  Don't believe 
me?, wait until a slow Internet day and simultaneously start a few 
concurrent downloads and watch the KBs rate.
