[ale] Using RHN Satellite to deploy a standard firewall: recommendations?

I'm just getting Satellite up and running for the first time. I'm
already using the "Configuration Channels" to deploy some standard
stuff like /etc/skel/.bashrc. I'm thinking that would be the easiest
way to deploy standard firewall scripts, but I wanted to get some
experienced opinions first. So, do any of you use Satellite? If so, do
you use it to deploy firewall scripts?
