Stores that don't suck (Was: Re: WalMart search)

HiFiBuys? I've had good luck with them in the past. There are some clueless
salesdroids in some of their stores, but every chain has at least one..

If you want to see where the worst of the worst salespeople go to work
check out Banner Ford in Decatur. Their used car salespeople are the biggest
assholes I've ever seen. For a great example of contrasts, go to Banner
Ford's used car lot and walk around fighting off the salespeople. Then go
across the street to the Mercedes dealership's used car lot and see some
of the most amazing sales staff ever.

Hugh has a good story (that he'd tell if he actually read the mail that
comes through the Mob list.. :-) about going shopping for a car in Forest
Park. Hugh's dad told her that they weren't interested in a car and she
broke down crying, sobbing that she would lose her job if she couldn't
sell them that car.. :-P
